Principal's Corner
Dear Bulldog Families,
As we begin the summer season, I want to take a moment to celebrate the incredible year we’ve just completed together. Our students demonstrated academic growth, strong attendance, and a commitment to being kind, responsible members of our school community. From classroom achievements to extracurricular successes, it has been inspiring to watch our learners thrive and support one another.
At Scott Middle School, we take pride in creating a learning environment where every student is challenged, encouraged, and known. We believe that strong attendance builds strong habits, that high-quality instruction opens doors to the future, and that character—respect, responsibility, and integrity—matters just as much as academics.
As we look ahead, summer is a perfect time for students to stay engaged and prepare for the upcoming school year. I encourage families to:
- Read daily and explore new topics of interest
- Practice foundational skills in math and writing
- Stay active and maintain healthy routines
- Talk about goals for the next school year
We are already looking forward to welcoming our students back for another year of growth, discovery, and success. If you’re considering joining our school community, know that here you will find a place where learning is prioritized, attendance matters, and students are guided to become not only successful learners—but great people.
Have a safe, restful, and enriching summer.
With Bulldog Pride,
Ms. Tracey Martinez
